At least one uses his mby status, and ability to abuse in any way he sees fit, on the grounds.

Disagree. Having worked along side a few of the "staffers" I value their input.

You find people you dont like in all walks of life so......dont talk to them...simples:)

You do take to some people and not others on here dont you.
Surely the whole point of a forum is that all are welcome and free to say what they feel, within reason.

If we dont like what they say, say so or just dont be part of the thread.
You cant like everybody and you will always find a ****** if you look hard enough.

I've never noticed the staff as a problem either and a few of them give valuable input and assistance in replies, especially to newbies.

The 'Haydn' style of reply is very much a case of first hand bitter experience and while amusing yet frightening at the same time needs a bit of getting used to.

This is not a criticism as I like the way you bash the 'nail' smack on the head everytime! :cool:

Not often I dont agree with you Haydn but the only thing I noticed last week was a YBW employee swearing and deliberately avoiding the auto edit here in the MOBO forum which isnt usually accepted so I presume you refer to something that has been going on in the lounge, perhaps this thread would be best placed there ?
 
Actually IMO it would be nice to have some more input on the forums from YBW staff. The videos thing was a good thing to go, and having a personal perspective here on a boat review was very interesting. Remember the debate on the Sealine F46 that was very interesting all in IMO. Yacht & Sail TV website have a sort of blog where people comment on the reviewer replies and comments in a more sort of personalized way....
 
This is to do with HLB picking on someone his own size for a change (rather than picking on a Newbie for asking a "gardener's question time" type question) and getting a mouthfull back. HLB is now crying foul as he seems to believe he is the only bear who is allowed to throw bricks on here.
