Sorry, I don't know anything about the pictures, a friend sent me the link today.
However when I went to check on my boat this morning I was surprised to find a spot of ice forming on the deck, Imagine how these owners must have felt to turn up and find their boats sunk under the weight of ice /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Now I feel like I should be sunbathing in the marina tomorrow

You would have to be daft to live in a place that gets so cold. i reckon anyone who could afford a boat that nice could afford to migrate to the other hemisphere each winter even if it meant having 2 modest boats. I have just come back from my daily swim around the boat, water was warm weather is balmy. olewill

Sorry, but yes, very old hat. Geneva is the location, and many pics appeared at the time of the ice storm. These pics now doing the rounds by email, many weeks after the event. The same link was posted on mobo yesterday. Can't be bothered to post more details, as I've posted the same many times before
