It\'s blowing hard - AGAIN!!

The house is rattling; the sea in Mounts Bay has gone all lumpy, white and surfy and the car is being thrown around as you drive.

Is this one of the generally windiest winters yet? Global warming or just one of those things?

I went out for a sail yesterday and whilst it was very pleasant there wasn't much of a breeze. I decided to sail back onto the mooring. Within 300 yards of the buoy the wind picked up and I had to do the equivalent of a handbrake turn to stop and run forward to pick up. It then blew a hoolie whilst I tried to stow the sails.
It settled down to a F3/4. It was 4 o'clock by then and too late, (and I was getting chilly) so it wasn't worth setting off again.

It seems to me the weather (wind patterns) never settled down all last year.

Is this Global Warming for you?
