On Spotty in East Cowes Marina, its blowing a bit, just checked Bramblemet it appears to have problems again, last report 7:05 am. Chimet gusting F8.

hi Roy ..... come on, be a good chap and venture out !! then while your "rockin n rollin" suggest a wet finger out of the window for some real "accurate" weather info !!!!!!!!........ titter titter !!............ ps. i feel for ogaryo and his latest prob !!!!!!
 
Looking out of the sitting room window in Lymington looks pretty breezy!! Went past Spotty moored at Port Hamble on Saturday, sadly no sign of life, assume you were in the watering hole, she really does look very nice though.

We were in the bar with Zippy, It was our first time out since the delivery trip and subsequent refurb, she quite a big old girl, with no thruster, so hammerhead was an easy option.
Were you checking out your next engines :) ?

Very little movement on the river at the moment, even the raggies are thinking better of it.....No fear of me moving.
I hope ogaryo problems are not as bad as he fears, guess all will be revealed when the leg comes off.
 
sure is a day for staying ashore today! just went down to Aviator and its blowing as hard through the marina as is has all winter!

dont do yourself down Roy, you made handling Spotty look easy!!
 
Well, mid Solent now, TBH it's not bad at all, there is a lone catamaran out here sailing along quite nicely, not being blown about, fun bit will be getting on his berth.
 
We motored from Portsmouth to the Hamble earlier today. The wind was blowing us right over even with no sails out and we were bouncing all over the place.

Not exactly the kind of weather we had hoped for for Easter!

I thought I saw your boat on the hard at Hamble Point as we went past on Sunday....is there another Picchiotti Tigress sitting near the slipway? (very visible as you enter/exit the Hamble), but obviously not you!

Its not me, but there is one for sale from Cowes, will have to investigate

Slightly off topic; we stayed Weds night in East Cowes and were just a few boats along from Spotty on F, and I must say she is a very fine and distinctive looking vessel.
