It\'s been a long, boatless winter....

but for me, about to end. We drive to Greece this weekend, back in October. Thanks to all for the discussions, arguments, advice and general enjoyment.

Hope everyone has a good season on the water.

Cheers

Vyv.

Vyv, have a good season; your contributions are greatly appreciated. Just as warm in Scotland, though. (Aye, right.)

Can I disguise myself as luggage, and become an illegal emigrant?

You are doing what I'd love to do really, have a good summer, though frankly Greece could do with it a wee bit cooler than last summer. I found 45c plus in Crete a bit close to my limits, or even a bit beyond at times.

Bon Voyage as they say in Italy.

I dare say you will be boarding a ferry, or checking into your first hotel by now, but never the less, have a great summer. Your advice and input to the forum has been very much appreciated.

Fair winds.

Have a great time Vyv, it was great to meet you, maybe one day we will manage to get together in warmer climes.

I am not at all jealous that you are leaving this cold damp island, not even a small amount

Boatless we may be during the winter but that is no excuse for the misuse of the comma (re. original post). Please check out clearterrain.com for the correct use of this grammatical salt!
