Hi all, I worked for quite some time as a ships entertainer for Hurtigruten ships in Norway and also for Fjordline in Denmark...I clocked up 10,000s sea miles from Bergen to Russian Border and back...also Bergen to Hirtshals denmark and back.
I did a Transatlantic trip in April 2015 from Montego Bay, all along Carribean Islands to Antigua, then Azores, Gib, Alacante then Palma too.
I have now signed on with Thomson on a more permanant basis requiring full STCW Training now completed and a Discharge Book which is being made now.
I called MCA Aberdeen asking if my previous sea time could be subsequently added to my Discharge Book but it seems not so my question is can I acquire a dedicated Seamans Log Type Book that I can use to document my travels even if its just for my own amusment and to give to my kids later perhaps.. I know I could write it down in a jotter but I am after something that looks the part too.
