Blue gunwhale channel on my Hardy had faded badly and pride demanded a solution. After seeing a couple of articles including one in the Hardy Owners Club magazine I decided to investigate vinyl wrapping as an alternative to a repaint and decided to go for it.
Finally got a break with the weather and job was done yesterday.

Job was done with the boat in the water and just leccy needed for a hot air gun. Result is impressive so I now need to give the rest of the hull a good clean and the fenders may need to go - does anyone know if there is a special paint that will work on the plastic?
Well impressed with Olly's workmanship who came up from Hamble to do the job - hoped to do it in an 8 hour day but the curves and recesses took a little longer so it was 10 hours overall. Cost around £550 all in.
