It there any money to be made?

No doubt B1 will raise the matters of the correct, commercial registration licence, BSSC and commercial insurance for those vessels based on the non-tidal river with the navigation authority. :encouragement:
More work for the Enforcement team. Still, they have a "heads up" with the boat names and location from the pictures. So it should not be too difficult for them to carry out preliminary checks from the safety of their office. What are the rules about letting out whilst moored in the marina?

Rule 2.7 of MDL's berthing licence agreement states that no part of the marina or the boat shall be used by the boat owner for any commercial purpose including hiring, letting or accommodation without prior written consent. MDL also state that they reserve the right NOT to enforce any of their rules.

The EA are aware of these developments and MDL tell me that they are allowing people to use Beds on Board. Beds on Board themselves have pretty specific conditions you can read on their website - I note that at least one of those boats is offering trips whereas the conditions seem to say boast but remain at location.
Remains to be seen whether any of the parties involved will actually monitor and enforce.

Think somebody who goes by the web Nome de Plume HRH,( no idea either) , is listing some uncomfortable accommodation nearbye.
UKIP members and girlfriends get a very very special welcome indeed and a huge discount apparently. :)
A piece of modern art that may to some resemble a block of wood and an axe, has been placed at the front exit.
