No pump out at Bray as far as I`m aware as there`s no marina,so we`ll just have to swim ashore. I`m sure our old friends Mainbrayce still run the taxi service,or we`ll use the rib.I wonder if the old boy is still there can`t remember his name ,I think it`s Rowland something similar perhaps our Alderney friend will confirm.

Roland has retired and Steve has taken his place. Taxi still runs but at £1.50 a head is a bit expensive IMHO.

We were all leaving Alderney on the 9th for Dielette at about 3pm. via The Race

We will be around that area at that time. how about a forum meet in Paimpol for the festival. Quick tip ...dont plan to moor your boat in Paimpol for the festival. Try St Quay Lezardrieux or somewhere else close by.

or even up the river to Pontriex after the first lock - bit of a trek back to Paimpol though.
great festival though - mind you in August there's something on all the time in the area.

Yes nearly bought a house on the river 1 mile from Pontriex last year. Lezardrieux is the closest with easy access to Paimpol by taxi or bus.

You can go on the train from Potrieux to Paimpol dead easy - there's a steam train and a normal one which is slightly cheaper. also they have put in new showers at Pontrieux and made it much better for this year allegedly. We took a trip on the train last time just to get away from the sea-shanties for a day, it was great.
