IT Help requd please

Hi all ..Can anyone help me with the following... I am trying to register as a user on the Euroweather Meteomed weather forecasting service,and have filled in all the details as requd. The e mail came back asking me to "click on the one time link below "within a certain time in order for my registration to be complete,however clicking on this link does not seem to do anything,I assume this link should be "active" for it to do anything? it is not in this case .. I am stumped! Anybody help?

you may have links turned off in your email client.

Try copy and pasting the link to a browser

some email clients (email programs) protect you from evil emails by disabling links. copy and paste the link into the address bar of your browser

I got him to forward the email to me, so I could extract the actual url, which then used to activate the account.
