April 2025. Boat on drying blocks for annual change of anodes and A/F, jet washed and 5L of self eroding Hemple "Classic" applied.
Skipper convinced that adding a kilo of expensive copper powder will transform performance of any retail A/F.
and a real pig to apply apparently.
June 2025. Boat up for sale but on the test run with the prospective buyer unable to exceed 12/13 knots.
Sale on hold. All the usual mechanical things get the blame.
July 2025.Boat back on blocks .......smothered stem to stern with baby barnycules.
Jet washed again. Test now achieves 22 knots at WOT against very scrappy wind over tide conditions.
Boat sold.
