980cc is the total displacement - 3 cylinders each 74 bore x 76 stroke. Listed as 8kW, so about 11hp.

Edit: also seen it listed as 23hp! Probably depends how it's set up for industrial use.

Not sure what you mean by "980cc per cylinder X 3" but I would expect a 980cc engine to produce around 27 hp, plus or minus a couple.

I have an Isuzu 3KC 1EA-02 a 3 cylinder diesel on my boat and it is 27.5 hp, engine number is 26500 a great little engine

Hello! I know this is an old thread, but I have an Isuzu 3KC 1 in our boat and we need to figure out how much it weighs including the transmission because we are replacing the engine mounts and need to know what engine mounts to order. Does anyone know how much the 3KC1 weights or where I might be able to find its weight?
