Won't work.
There is power to the compressor thing & the thermostat seems to work but the motor won't run. Last week i turned it on and it ran for a few seconds. Any ideas?

My fridge would not start at the beginning of the season. Shorting the 2 connections indicated will bypass the thermostat. If it works while shorted then it's the thermostat. Mine was due to a faulty control box, (replaced under warranty). Motor and control box are 2 separate components.

I have come across two Isotherms that had dodgy connections on the cables due to the damp enviroment - check them and for continuity of the circuits with the power off.

Just ( last week) installed Isotherm GE80. When switched on it takes about 15 seconds for the system to kick the system into working. There is a lump of electronics with a huge great heat sink, completely independant of the thermostat - suspect it is a huge great solid state relay ( Mosfet??) .. that said it reduces the fridge to 0 degree C in about 1 hour.
