can anyone offer any info on islander 23 g.r.p constuction,bilge keel ,sloop rig. as i would like feedback on sailing or just anything related.especially retract gear to raise outboardwhen sailing.also anyone got bottom drive section for mercury 9.8 outboard or complete engine for spares.must be cheap!

I've just bought one, but haven't had it in the water yet. The previous owner said it wasn't that quick, but very stable.
On mine the outboard fits on a bracket on the stern, but there is also a well as an alternative.
