This may have been discussed before but a search didn't turn anything up. Can anyone shed light on the island sailing club rating system? How to applies to real life. Currently the fastest boat is rated at 1.169 and the slowest 0.752. Over an hours race for example what would the supposed time difference be?

Or even over 10/12 hours?

Thanks peeps

I believe it's a simple TCF system.
The elapsed time is multiplied by the TCF to give the corrected time.
So the fast boat's corrected time is its time over the course times 1.169 etc.

Not sure if that answers your question?
