It was a lovely day. I got a thrill from watching the granddaughter, who is 12, on the helm from Woolverston to just past Levington - then she did a U turn, throttled back and held the boat stationary against the tide while we got the fenders and warps set. Then "I don't think I ought to take it into the marina, granddad". Soon though...
