Is this calibrated chain?

Found this marking every meter or so on my current 8mm chain.

Boat doesn't have a windlass but am gonna be fitting one soon.

Anyone recognise the marking?

The letters stand for Maggi Chain Italy. They produce their Aqua4 and Aqua7 chains to the DIN 766 specification. In sizes other than 10 mm chain to ISO 4565 has essentially the same dimensions although tolerances are slightly different. If you buy a windlass to DIN 766, it will be marked on the gypsy, the chain will fit.
