Certainly not a record!

For those too young to remember, a record is/was a black disc approx 5 ins in diameter, which was put into a machine called a record player/sterio and produced music.

They can still be found in antique shops and at car boot sales.

My ST60 log often records a max speed of 160 odd knots when I ask it at the end of a passage. I never seem to be on deck when those speeds are recorded though. Think I might need to get somebody to look at it.

7", 10" or 12" surely? 5.25" came later, was flexible, was put into a machine called a disc drive and produced error messages.
