I'm struggling to think of one

There’s the ultimate compromise. They only float some of the time. All boats must float.
Even submarines will be required to re-surface at some point.
They float all the time.....There’s the ultimate compromise. They only float some of the time.
Technically, but it’s a different definition than most of us use. Though as an ex Dart catamaran sailor, I can say that Darts are broadly similar. They can also have a similar attack method. I have seen a committee boat sunk by a Dart. They float all the time.....
Sod’s Law. Or at least my version of it. Everything that could go wrong will.

One interesting thing about submarines is that their stability curve inverts as they dive.Technically, but it’s a different definition than most of us use. D's corollary: everything that can't go wrong, will go wrong at some point.Sod’s Law. Or at least my version of it. Everything that could go wrong will.
Again, similar to a DartOne interesting thing about submarines is that their stability curve inverts as they dive.
