I currently have a depth transducer and a speed transducer and I am changing to a single triducer (speed, depth and temp) so I will have a hole I don't need..

Is there a black/closed version of the through hull fitting that I can use to close up the hole I don't need?

I know I could just leave the old transducer in place but was looking for a neater solution if there is one..

Depends on make. My current Airmar made transducer has a blanking plug that can be put into the through hull in place of the transducer, so did my old VDO Logic ones. If you are out of the water its probably best just to bevel and fill the old hole. I have never seen a blanking plug designed to replace a through hull, only one to fit inside it.

If it is a NASA Marine log transducer fitting you are referring to then yes, there is a grey plastic screw cap with washer that does the job.

I have had one fitted for half a season or so but always thought it a weak point, so removed it and glassed up the hole. No more weak point.

It's a Raymarine transducer that will be removed.. Looks like the option is either leave the unused transducer in place or the blank plug.. Might consider glassing the hole next year, too many other things to get done this year to get the boat back into the water... :)
