Is there a tall ships register?

Is there such a thing as a directory of UK-based tall ships?

A friend of mine in the media world is looking to make a promo video for a film and needs a suitable backdrop.

He also needs to find a suitable ship at some point for the film itself, and is not sure where to start. If he could find a ship like the one in the film (100’ 2 masted snow rigged ship – turn of 19th century) that might be a great backdrop.

Any ideas?

These may only be Tall Ships used for training but you can filter the search for UK.

I sail with the Tall Ships Youth Trust, but it's fair to say that their ship doesn't look especially historical.

Square Sail down in Charlestown in Cornwall have more aesthetically-suitable vessels, and I believe do quite a bit of film work.
