Is there a market for back issues of Motor Boat and Yachting

My father was an avid reader and also a collector, I have possibly every issue of MB&Y and Classic boat circa 1960/1970 to modern day.

Is there a market for these older magazines? due to volume would like to off load in single set

If you want to get rid then eBay as an auction and take what you get, buyer collects, postage would be massive. If you want to maximise £ then list them individually on eBay classifieds. 5 quid a go inc postage.

If you sell them as a whole auction lot then they'll go for a pittance for someone who will relist them as individual issues and make a profit.

The best way to list them on eBay is to consider a price you'd be happy with then add 20% - list them as buy-it-now with a "make an offer" option. Reduce the price if they don't sell.

IMO there's a very small market for these. I'd start by emailing all the posh yacht clubs and see if their libraries have any interest. Maybe not, but it's what I'd like best.
