Is there a good and honest outboard engineer in Burnham?

Good and honest is not hard to find in Burnham.

Speedy or timely may make for a different selection criteria!

Thanks Lisa.

My main criterion is good, and honest.

No, no....my two criteria are good, honest and, err, speedy.

No....my three criteria are good, honest, speedy and timely.

So....who do you suggest?

I bought a very good second hand outboard from him and was quite impressed.

Haven't used him myself but he's got a good rep (Jim will be along shortly I'm sure, he knows the chap)

I have used MIKE THE OUTBOARD. his no is 07768 870634. I have used him over many years and his knowledge is vast. He has 30 something years experience, he does a lot of work for Essex yacht clubs, councils etc. He is always busy (a good sign) so may not get an immediate appointment
He is based in Southend on Sea, you can always take an outboard to him. Another plus is that he is not a 9 - 5 man and will work outside these hours.
I have no connection, just a pleased client

GO and catch a falling star, *
Get with child a mandrake root, *
Tell me where all past years are,
Or who cleft the Devil's foot;
Teach me to hear mermaids singing,
Or to keep off envy's stinging,
And find
What wind
Serves to advance an honest mind.

If thou be'st born to strange sights,
Things invisible to see,
Ride ten thousand days and nights
Till Age snow white hairs on thee;
Thou, when thou return'st, wilt tell me
All strange wonders that befell thee,
And swear
No where
Lives an outboard mechanic true and fair.

Very nice chap Simon, used to do outboards for Rice & Cole before they had a falling out. Lives on his boat, last year he was over at Essex Marina I believe. Never had any work done by him myself but imbibed a little with him in the Queens.

Just looked at the website and under the services page it mentions Grit Blasting as required in your other thread.
