The latest newsletter suggests that Stingo might finally get to sea;

And if he gets here, down to the Canaries before the end of this year;

I will find him, humour the poor mad b****r, and

What do you think I should I do ?

Yep, the rumours are starting to fly around yet again and Farewell Party part XXIV is being organised and I've given notice to the slumlord yet again and been trying to keep it quiet just in case it all goes pear-shaped yet again...

Hope to leave by the end of September. Stingo is currently in Brighton and the fridge is working so the beers are cold. If any forumites are in the area please give the deck a thump and see if a dazed & confused head pops out of the companionway.

I class Sailbad as one of my friends so surely I must be dazed & confused.

Tips on meeting Stingo.

If invited aboard, wear your lifejacket. The noble vessel Stingo is likely to sink at any moment due to the overloading situation caused by

1) Every system having a back-up, and the back-up systems having back-ups.
2) 4000 CDs
3) Charts for the entire world, and the Sea of Tranquility
4) A choice of three windsurfers, and three rigs for each one
5) One plastic inflatable female crew
6) Comms equipment that was salvaged from Radio Caroline
7) An excess of musical instruments
8) A structure on the stern that resembles an early model of the Sydney harbour bridge, and which carries more aerials than one of HM's frigates
9) His entire 30 year collection of Yachting Monthly, Piratical Stoat Boner, and Penthouse.
10) Too much booze

You r best course of action is to drink all the booze (ask TCM for more info) as this will lighten ship and improve his chances of making a circumcision, sorry, circumnavigation.

I can't think of a better reason for going.

I'm sure that liver transplants are a lot cheaper in S.A.

After the last session with Sailbad, I unzipped my liver and left it on the radiator to dry. Took three days!

For Sailbad, a nice cup of tea in the morning with two sugars and a dash of milk isn't complete unless it has a large tot of whisky in it. My mind curdles at the thought...

Stingo under Camouflage?

Yup, been there several times. Each time I'm in Brighton Marina I look for "Stingo", but can't seem to find you - perhaps you're too low in the water to show up! Roughly where are you as I'm sure we'll be making our way round there again before end Sept.

Regards, Jeff.

Re: Stingo under Camouflage?

East Jetty on pontoon 24 about half way along the pontoon on the seaward side on the pontoon. Can't remember the berth number.
