Is Mike an ex smoker?

Having given up smoking 3 weeks ago, I noticed with some amusement that Mike Golding ran out of cigarettes about the same time.... so he's had little choice but to give up.... bit extreme as a quitting method.... some try gum, some patches, others hypnotism, but sailing single handed around the world has got to be one of the most extreme!

Just brought me round to wondering if he's kept it up on getting ashore, or was the temptation just too much!

Addendum.... just re-read that, and I'm not sure that asking if he managed to keep it up when back on shore after 88 days at sea was the best turn of phrase... but hell.... it was amusing, so I left it in.....
