I do not think so,could be searush ?
Searush is a Stripling compared to Me, in Age, I think He is 100 + VAT!
As a Forumite in 'Age' of 'Joinership' of these sceptered Forai I dunno
I am age less, less of age and more of youthness
This weekend I had a 14 year old and His Dad at 49 doin a Course and a 'Proper Boy' who has bought His first Boat at the age of 73 , this boaty lark is a real good Pastime
Althought I am past my prime
I was endeared by the the enthusiasm of 'Grandad' and how the whole 'Crew' where so enthusiastic
It is a so much Pleasure to 'Teach/Instruct' Peeps about boats an stuff
And not hit the rocks I have
:D

He may well be a salty, well-seasoned sea dog, but mixed nicely with the exuberance of a much younger man.

Maybe a timeless classic, perhaps they will write sea shanties about him? :)

Boats keep you young. Fact.

Here's my Dad, 83 years young… with his faithful crew, otherwise know as Mum.

If you ever see Ta-mera around, their general cruising ground are more Solent based now but doesn't mind dash across the channel or to the West Country, do say hello.

As I was reliably informed, Horatio Nelson's official number was 000001,

Kwackers is 000000 ;)

Then it's no wonder when Kwacka does his instruction of the Menai Strait passing Llanfairpwll, Anglesey, taking his pupils close to the shore to see the Nelson Monument, waving his sextant about, remembering the good old days.
I thought he was referring to just prior to the GPS period, not the Napoleonic Wars :)

epervier you are a %$*&% erawat , Thats Tom 'Little Ship' and 'Major Catastrophe' on the pontoon in PD. They are both 6 ft 7 and make me look like a little Celt
But I was using the Forum flag to hide my Masculinity (cos me jeans was ripped) the flag was only just big enough
Later that day I had me bi annual haircut and the lady cutter said
'Kwacker everything you have got is long!'
I told swmbo when I got home
'Knob head' She said, 'She was talkin about yer boat's length', well She didn't say knob head but yer knows what I mean.
She said-- If the cutter cut anymore off you would need a magnifying glass ter find IT
Charmin!
Women can be so Cruel
But Darlin, I am a Legend!
'Yeh, but not in our House'
Anyway, I have just cut the lawn and done the washin up as programned, swmbo has gone to the Pictures with No 1 daughter and No 2 and No 1 grandson.
I am sneekin a few posts on here and havin a sly drink before I make my own supper and watch the football recordings before they get back, that'l show em!

Hope the guy on the right does not think that cork will keep him afloat
The Guy on the right was a Denizen of this Forai, a certain 'Major Catastrophe' was His handle and yes the cork would not handle His flotation problems
The Guy on the left (being as we are at it is Tom) Little Ship, the slowest most prettiest boat in the Nothern Hemisphere does Tom helm
Said small vessel, however has been known to vent its 'Fun Box' on many a Forumite gatherin
To the chagrin of it's Skipper on some occasions
However I do remember having the best High Tea on the Grand Banks 32 one afternoon, the best salad and ham and anchovies- they must have been form Waitrose
I am not sure, I am not allowed in there
Since I bumped into Kate Middleton in the car park and bothered Her for a light!

Bony? Rather than bonny? Had he lost a bit of weight then?

I remember that pic well, I took it wiv me little box Brownie & Boots developed it for sixpence proper money. Kwaka may look like he's me Dad, but he ain't even a pensioner yet, a mere youngster.
