Is it worth upgrading from Navionics to Navionics + on iPad?

Hi - I have been using Navionics on my iPad quite happily around the Solent, with the intent to go further afield around the Channel. I have been wondering whether the upgrade to Navionics + is worth the extra £38 to get the Sonar charts and updates. Has anybody done this (specifically, with the iPad version) and would you recommend it?

I did it last week. So far, impressed. However, my need is quite specific, I'm Sonarcharting Rutland Water as no charts have ever been available before.

Thread hijack (sorry)! Be aware Navionics version 7 removes the ability to sync waypoints and routes with Raymarine MFDs. If this affects you, then please get in touch with Navionics (in as public a manner as possible) and encourage them to reintroduce the feature!
