..... that you guys don't have fridges ?? I know Jimi keeps his beer in a string vest, dangling over the side. How do the rest of you keep your bits cool ?

a la fishing you mean Cactus ? ..... just be careful not to damage your tackle if those fishes start nibbling !

Don't need one .. it's minus 2 @ midday here.. Only purpose I could think of for fridge at the mo is to stop things freezing.. but I prefer a good ol fire for that!

Well chilled.

I have asked, and my man assures me that we have a fridge on board.

Where did you get the idea that one should live without essential comforts ?

I also have a wine cellar. (the bilges) one compartment of which takes 86 bottles if properly filled and being a steel boat, it keeps the wine at the perfect storage temperature.

Of course we have to sail north before properly enjoying the crisper whites.

Hey Poms dont like cold beer... everytime I have visited UK ,I have been given warm beer ,made rude noises and have had to ask for it to be chilled....

Has to be COLD .... to freeze the taste buds before you get a REAL taste of it !!!!
