is it just me or is the forum still snail like slow?

got 4 ybw tabs open in firefox, and have just sat here for at least 30 secs waiting for them to update. This time they have updated - last time they timed out. and its happening all the time.

I get the impression that there is some database setting that says something like "more than 5 screens in 5 minutes - delay all his requests for a minute or two"

Its certainly not browser or ISP - the BYM forum is instantaneous as are all my bike ones.

Shouldnt really moan about a free service, but the delays are getting to the point where I will simply not bother with ybw. Which will please SWMBO and generate time for washing up.

So at the end of all this woffle - is it just me?

No, you are not alone. I posted about half an hour ago and it took over 1½ minutes to upload! My 7 yr old Grand-daughter said it was like watching a wet snail climb a pane of glass. SO frustrating.

Agree - the latest 'fix' has slowed it right down - bad as the old days pre-broadband!
