Happy New year Everyone!

Am I one of the few working today?

Cant help noticing that the forum doesn't have its usual verve. It will be interesting to see how things compare on a normal working day.

Regards
Cameron

I actually got down to the boat today. About time, I was suffering withdrawals! The excuse was that SWBO needs a new (to us) car, and only suitable one was in Portsmouth.

The car was a waste of time - scratched to pieces by the previous owner's dog, flat battery and the tiny drop of oil on the dipstick was more like grease! I'm looking for a Fiesta Ghia automatic up to 2K if anyone's got a good one within 100 miles of N London.

Boat was luvverly, didn't want to get off!

Saw 56kts on the wind thingy and an icy wind. Sleet and hail with some rain. It was sunny for a short time too. If we got bored of the weather we only needed to wait five minutes.

Though in the saloon it was 22°C with plenty of hot coffee and the laptop showing movies. The Wind gen defo proved its worth over the past four days keeping up with our high power usage.

Surprisingly we also had the harbour pretty much to ourselves /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
