He migrated for the summer, then comes back in the winter, well end of sept anyway. No doubt before long if the weather doesn't change he'll be back before that. Last reported sighting of this rare old bird was in ramsgate I think.

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

I guess this is an annual thing then I did'nt realise that cos I only joined the forum last winter. Miss the old

I think he does take his long suffering with him. Someones got to make the important decisions

Byron is alive and well and in Ramsgate except when making the odd cross channel sortie to stock up on tobacco and wine.

Somehow he gets away with leaving Eileen at home!

Due back when it gets cold, subject to air draught at Windsor bridge.

Andrew I tried to send you a PM but no luck. I am off to Ramsgate from Chatham soon, and whilst I have
Byrons email I don't suppose he's on that at the moment. Have you a mobile number you could PM me as
I'd like to met up with him. By the way I have had numerous conversations with Byron is the recent past
as I nearly bought his boat (he changed his mind at the last minute cos he could'nt do without his massive genny}
