The reason I ask is that Watchet Marina are considering a rally of some sort over that weekend to replace the carnival weekend which died when the council decided to stick it in a field two miles away! It also coincided with an event at Bristol.
It might make a nice run up to the end of the season event so it would be good if it didn't conflict with anything else.
It could then become an annual event /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Shame about Hong Kong.

However, so you don't feel completely out of it, Me and Sneddon would be happy to take your boat along for you. we promise to take lots of Pictures and have a great time

We would also, pay half the fuel, Seems only fair /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Would you really trust your boat into the hands of a bunch of throttle happy hooligans? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No such thing as throttle happy hooligans any more. I may not bother finishing my rib. With the price of fuel now, Louise and I may just go down to Southerndown once a week and throw a bucket load of money off the cliffs, cut out the middle man.

ha ha that made me smile, but I must agree, I am thinking of learning to sail! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I only used 10 gallons all season last year in my Eventide /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif,but then we did have lots of wind. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I refuelled a mobo last week that had been to Penarth and back - over £300 for 40 miles! I reckon I have had 3 winters heating and 4000 miles for the same cost /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Blimey, I should be able to get there and back at least 2 or 3 times for £300.

You made me feel better now.... i think. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
