Iroko Supplier - please help

Can anyone advise where I might get a piece of Iroko 60mm X 30mm X 5500mm?

All of the suppliers I've contacted can't supply at this length.

Try 'Morgan's' in Strood (Kent) Tel 01634 - 290909. They may do it if anyone in this area can - they usually import whole trees.

Personally, I think you will struggle finding this length, the stuff is really hard to keep straight and un warped in long lengths leading to stock no one wants and wastage, 3m is the norm. Is this for a rubbing strake? What about some scarf joints?

A good machinest (like me) could supply you with ready worked joints.

Many thanks for the suggestions - I'll try them tomorrow.

It's actually to replace a damaged toe rail - the original was one length so I would like to replace with the same.
