Iroka supplier

I’m looking for some Iroka in the Hamble area, does anyone know where I might be able to get a piece about 5’ long, 5” x 1”. I’ve googled and found Sydenham but I gave them a ring and it’s only on special order. I can get it from Robbins but the delivery costs almost the same as the piece of wood.

Robbins planed all mine to the nearest they could get to approx scantlings. Saved a lot of effort so just had to do final fettling.

Perhaps not useful if you are no where near Bristol

If you're coming down the A3 to Hamble then Inkster Timber merchants isn't far out of the way. They're just behind the big Havant Asda (although a few small wiggly roads to actually get there).

Maybe worth a call.... Their website is not great because all it seems to show is another part of the business which is sheds.
