Iris B 2 - Sealine T60

Well, our friends Karl and Gail on their T60 - IrisB 2 have finally set off from Milford Haven at 3:30 this morning on their trip to Spain.
If any forumites should see them , please say hello and wish them well.
Plan is to go Milford - Penzance - then coast hop around Biscay although with the forecast, they may go for a straight shot.

The direct route across Biscay is proper blue water and is very special. Most of us stinkies never get to experience it. Hope they safely enjoy what is a lovely trip. (I did Guernsey to Gib in one hop once and can bore for hours about it)

A T60 is a good sized boat to be attempting Biscay.
I wouldn’t want to try it in anything much smaller,

Brings back memories for me.
We did a similar delivery trip from Torquay in September 2008.
Everything worked for us - my only regret was that we did it too quickly and it might have been more interesting to stop longer at some of the places on the way.
However, we set our target before we left and achieved it successfully.

Here is my report that I posted at the time.
As I say, it brings back memories.
