Ipswich Maritime Festival 18th - 19th August

Hopefully another weekend of good weather (jinxed it now!), entertainment and company. Ipswich Maritime Festival will be bringing the waterfront to life https://www.ipswichentertains.co.uk/ipswichmaritimefestival/

This year’s Maritime Festival will also include a foot ferry and a land train to transport you around the Maritime site!

I'll be there with John & Jill and some of the other crew. We'll be launching Ipswich Boatyard at Ipswich Haven Marina. When you're that way, come and see us, our past & current projects and maybe there will be some refreshments on ice

In what I would regard as typical for anything organised in Ipswich it gives not a clue as to where to park.
This town is so badly organised for visitors. I never shop there anymore for this reason. I may investigate further and no doubt its a worthwhile event but I cannot walk there, its 30 miles from home. I would have thought that in there publicity they would give me affordable parking areas inc postcodes? Otherwise have a good event.

The car park opposite the cinema at Cardinal Park (turn left at the roundabout after the bridge, nr the marina) is cheap for the day and a couple of minutes walk.

Yes! We’ll be there exhibiting what’s to come but essentially a full service boatyard traditional style!

I think we are outside the Haven Marina office?

I’ll be there from Friday evening but mooring on Neptune side. Will be about on the stand all day sat and sun. Pop in and say hi!

Arrived a little while ago and berthed at Neptune's. Saw that as I came though the lock if it is the red one on the quay wall.
