Hello , need help please .
Have water intrusion into the engines cradle ,bay ( not under the engines ) . Somewhere bellow engines and IPS . Steady leak all the time but a lot water coming when engines running.
Have checked everywhere around engines and IPS units . Leak between IPS lower base and hull ?
Any thoughts ?
Thanks
Michael

I wasn't certain what an IPS was for a while but remembered it's a Volvo system that rotates the drive varying angles. I vaguely remember Beneteau selling boats with that ability.

I assume the most likely place would be the exhaust system. Either the elbow or the muffler/water trap.

I suspect you would have spotted a problem with the elbow. I do know that some Jeanneau's had problems with the muffler and it was tricky to find. I think it was a stainless part stuck inside a fibreglass section. Water built up in a section and dribbled out slowly, becoming worse when running.

Boat details might help as it might be a known issue with a particular model.

Another possibility might be the exhaust hose. I found a pinhole where it vibrated against the edge of a bulkhead.
