iPhone pocketgrib app

I've had this app for a few months and I quite like it. Unfortunately it now doesn't seem to want to display the synoptic chart properly; all I get is a diagonal line across the map with random wind symbols along it which twitch a bit as it runs through the forecast. Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried looking on the developers website for a solution, but this seems to be down at the moment.

I've got this app on my Iphone and it's working just fine.

Hi Tim,

The most recent version of PocketGrib seems to cause the problem you describe when running on the old iPhone 3G (or old iPod touch) where the version of the iOS software is 4.2.1 (which you can check in the main iPhone Settings...General...About...Version).

I've finally managed to replicate this issue and am working on a change that I hope will fix it. I should have it to Apple in the next day or two and then it waits for their approval until it gets released.

Hi Tim,

Just a quick heads up that the issue you experienced (which only effected older devices) was fixed in the latest release (v1.0.9) which came out last week (after a long approval wait).
