As you know I take quite a lot of video of our various boating activities and I do most of my editing on my iPhone. Even though I have a 256gb phone dedicated to the edditing it fills up and I only shoot in 1080p.
I was looking for an easy way to transfer stuff from my iphone to a hard drive on the fly, ie without having a computer in the middle.
I have found a solution that suits me which is the iDiskk. It is an external hard drive with an internal power bank so that it also charges your phone. It works on quite a simple app and you can move videos between you phone and the hard drive and visa versa very easily.
It was £150 for the 2TB version so not cheap but not too bad I surpose.
