Ipad - how do I learn to work it

Got one of these as a present 2 weeks ago - still can't find where to look for instructions - am i just too old for it ?
Advice would be welcome !

Get it to do something useful

Hi Ken

Once you have mastered the basics (which you will do), go to the App Store (icon on your ipad) and put imray into the search bar and have a look at their tides, rules, and chartplotter apps. I use them and they are pretty good, and they offer a free chartplotter to play with before deciding to spend any money.

I am typing on my ipad to write this. I am confident you will fall in love with it!

carefully splip the Ipad into the jiffy and send it to the address on my website

There should be a small piece of paper that tells you to connect it to a computer, with iTunes installed on it, via the USB cable, in order to activate your iPad.
You do have iTunes don't you?

iOS out this summer does not require iTunes - it syncs directly over the internet.
