IOM yachts...

The naive poster below makes me realise that this is the ideal starting point for ANOTHER problem I have...

I am looking to buy an IOM yacht, and wonder if anyone here could exchange some pms on the subject. I will leave detailed questions till some poor fool decides to try to help.

Why by pm?

I've got one, you could do as I did.

Went to the local club and asked if anybody had one that they wanted to sell. Quite a cheap way into it, about £400.

Never managed to win a race with it, but got third places relatively often, beating the £2,000 jobs frequently.
