Inverter/charger location

I have just purchased a 1500w Combi inverter/charger, the ideal place for me to locate it, ie good access, close to the Batteries, is in a cupboard the other side of the engine room bulkhead.
Subect to adequate ventilation is there any reson that it should not be located as described?

Sounds fine to me. As you say it just needs ventilation, and protection from getting wet. The cooling fans might buzz a bit so perhaps make sure no-one's bed/pillow is t'other side of bulkhead!
