First I must declare an interest: the restaurant is run by my cousin's daughter Pam and her partner Rob.
It has had rave reviews in the Guardian and other national press. The focus is on local sourcing, with fish & seafood from the loch and greens from the garden. It's not cheap, and menu choice is limited, but what is offered is of the highest quality. Booking via the website: http://inverrestaurant.co.uk/ is recommended.
Inver is situated in Lachlan Bay on the east shore of the loch, about 8 miles NE of Otter Ferry. There is reasonable anchorage and plans for future visitor moorings.
