Visited restaurant in Burgundy last week &, having produced my in-date QR code on phone, their response was 'invalide.' Has anyone else experienced similar? Effected begrudging entry by producing letter from NHS with equally invalid rectangular code.

Assuming the NHS QR code has not expired you need to install the French TousAntiCovid app. This allows you to import your NHS QR code. Its easy & does work.

Yes the expiry date is shown under the '2D barcode.'

The NHS QR code renews everytime you log in. It will always say it expires in 1 month. So If you download it for offline use it expires after a set time of 1 month. from what I have been told the QR code on the app never expires.
