Hello all.
I've been reading your forum as a guest for a few months now and thought it time to register and be part of the community.

About me:
I'm a 47 year old self employed Motor Mechanic, living and working in the west of Scotland.
I currently own a 79 Bayliner 2350 (Callisto), which I have used regularly on Loch Lomond for the last 4 years.
Callisto was fully refurbished before I splashed her. She was modernised, re-wired and re-powered with an Izusu diesel engine coupled to a Volvo 275 outdrive.

I hope to give input to the forum and look forward to reading through previous posts.

Hi Charlie. A very warm welcome to the forum. I spotted this by chance, lurking at the foot of the page of threads. Unfortunately first time posts take longer than normal to get through the system, so this is not unusual. Some pics of your boat would be much appreciated on here, usually best done via a third party hoster like Photobucket. If you pop this into the search function at the top of the page you will get some good instructions if you are unfamiliar with the process.

Welcome along. Can never have too many mechanics on here!! Be great to hear tales of your boating on Loch Lomond. Not an area that often comes up on the forum. Plenty of med and solent stuff but be great to hear about things up north
