I am doing some research and am interested in interviewing two couples who have been doing some ocean crossings on motor boats. Would like to have a perspective from someone with a monohull and from someone with a multihull. This is for a college course writing assignment and I appreciate any and all responses.

are you sure the lecturer wasn't winding you up? you'll have a job finding ocean-going mobo types and mutihulled ones are like hen's teeth.

Thanks snowleopard for the reply. Sometimes the assignment is not always easy, eh? If you have any experiences with ocean crossings, please let me know if I can get your feedback.

Or join the US based liveaboard list or similar through a trawl (g) on the net.

Beucase the americans use the bit motor trawlers far more of them cross seas (if not oceans) - but multi-hull mobos are I'm sure rare.
