Internet phones on the Thames

Take possession of Thames Cruiser in August. This coincides with replacing existing mobile. Keen to get a mobile that has good internet reception/use whilst meandering up and down The Thames. Mainly to view events taking place wherever we intend to visit. The O2 service is preferred but am open to changing this. Has anyone experience/knowledge on this subject?

I use 02 and found that it is better on the Thames than all the others.
