International Woodskin- yay or nay?

I'm one of the people who has consistently recommended Woodskin on these forums, so it's interesting to see that your experience has been so different to mine. Maybe things like environment come into play. I've had great success with it on both teak and iroko.

Is there really an alternative to varnish? I don't want to spend my life maintaining a varnish finish. If I can't sort this out, I'll paint most of the wood so that I can go sailing.

The best sailor I know - who is also brilliant at building boats - said, when I first mentioned re-varnishing the toe rails, that I should paint them and spend the time sailing!
