If this is ISN of Ambleside, principal Steve Reeve, then yes.
(The e-mail and web address has changed )

They were fine.
A little bit anally retentive - probably because they were Navy/Merchant Navy trained rather that yacht trained.

For example - A naval midshipman, living in a grey box with no windows has to calculate when twilight will be and consult his tables; he is not allowed into the one room with windows (aka the bridge) without a good reason.
But a yachtsman, sitting in a cockpit will see that it will be getting dark in a couple of hours and can deduce the time of twilight.

I found that the more "practical easy going" attitude of Tom Cunliffe´s books seemed to jar slightly with their more correct (possibly pedantic) system.

However, I must stress that course was sound and worth the money. Very strong on weather (I can´t spell meteorology).

If I was to live my life again I would be quite happy with doing the correspondence course with them again.
