Last year's International Cruiser Uno was completely useless. Local chandlery has an offer on International - Micron2 or Ultra 2??

I used Micron last season in Greece and was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was. Over the past 10 years we have tried a different one almost every year and Micron has been one of the best. That was Micron, not Micron 2.

Not quite the question you asked.
I found uno to be useless.
Tried Micron extra which as you will know is not cheap. It was useless as well.
I got nowhere near the 2 years Micron extra quotes.

I now use Hempel Tiger Extra.
Good results but only one seasons use.

It has been suggested that my failure with Micron Extra might be due to not having the correct thickness.
I apply with a roller , normally 2 coats.

For antifouling to work, it's essential to apply the amount (volume) recommended by the manufacturer. I use Micron, applied in 2 or 3 thick brush applications, using International's recommendations on amount, and it lasts 2 full seasons, in the water all year round. If applying by roller, you might need to do 5 or 6 coats to use up the recommended amount.

Oh good at least I am not the only one. Antifouled 2 coats by roller mid summer now has 9" of grass growing daily. Back to Seajet 33 for me in Portsmouth Harbour.

If you read the instructions, Micron needs 3 to 4 coats to last 2 years. I just put on three coats, with 4 coats on leading edges etc.
